*~In the Blogosphere~*
I was recently inspired by Shannon Miz @ It Starts at Midnight to start keeping track of some of the awesome posts in the blogosphere that I’ve noticed throughout the month! Here are a couple that I specifically wanted to mention.
- Denise from The Bibliolater discussed why it’s okay NOT to read. There is so much pressure to be reading 24/7 but guess what? You’re allowed not to read everyday.
- Rayna at Reading Rayna discussed what defines a reader. It made me aware of an idea going around that I hadn’t heard of, which was enlightening to me.
- Cait from Paper Fury hosted an INCREDIBLE guest post by Michael Grant re his writing style.
- Cait from Paper Fury also discussed 10 dreadful things that happen if you read too much! This is one of my all time favorite posts and it’s definitely worth a read!
It comforts me whenever I see you (and other bloggers) haven’t read like a million and one books during the month because it’s rare that I have a month where I read more than 4-5 anymore. On the same note, I’m definitely going to check out that post on why it’s okay to NOT read 100% of the time. Thanks for sharing, Nori!
Awwww don’t worry about it Sierra! No one has time to read 24/7 (believe me, I wish I did, but it’s just not realistic).
Sad to see some DNFs up there. Most of the books on my recap fall into the same category. *whispers* But I’m glad it’s not just me this month.
I hate DNFing books, but I just didn’t love any of them :(((
I can’t believe it’s June. 2016 is just flying by!
How did you like GOLDFISH? It sounds like it could be very good.
Good luck meeting all your challenge goals!! Looks like you’re doing a great job so far! Keep up the great work!
By the way, I love the layout of your wrap up. My favorite section is “In the Blogosphere”. I like seeing a glimpse at what’s on your radar.
Have an awesome June!!
I thought Goldfish was cute! And thank you so much!!! I’m so happy to hear you enjoy reading my wrapups. I love putting together the In the Blogosphere section 🙂
I’m super excited to read The Loose Ends list and Places No One Knows. May was a little slow for me as well in terms of reading, and I hope it picks up soon. Good luck with reading in June!
Congrats on completing 17/12 in the debut author challenge! That’s awesome!
Oh wow looks like a super nice month – two five stars! And you’re really killing those challenges! I’m so ready for summer and all the (sunny warm) free time it brings! 🙂
