*~Blog News~*

ALAMW16 was an incredible experience, and I had to resort to GIFs while writing my wrap-up of the event! Speaking of ALAMW16, my Stacking the Shelves had people DROOLING when they were looking at my haul (I can’t blame them- I was doing the same thing).

I have to thank Sarah @ The Book Traveler for helping me out with the freebie week for TTT (I ended up doing Ten Topic Suggestions for When You Don’t Know What To Do For TTT)!

I also shared my thoughts on what exactly an “interactive post” is at the beginning of the month!

*~In the Blogosphere~*

I was recently inspired by Shannon Miz @ It Starts at Midnight to start keeping track of some of the awesome posts in the blogosphere that I’ve noticed throughout the month! Here are a couple that I specifically wanted to mention.

Maryam at Once Upon A Story wrote a post on Lies that People Tell You about YA Books that was really interesting!

Jess @ Princessica Of Books discussed some reasons why ereaders are awesome– and she brought up some ideas that I never had thought about!

Camillia @ Twenty Three Pages wrote up a great post about how to create realistic New Years Resolutions!

Jen @ Jen Adore Blog wrote about how she was defining her New Year Goals with simply one word. Nothing more, nothing less. It’s a concept I never would have thought about, so I loved it!

Amber @ Bookstacks Amber discussed how and why she was lowering her Goodreads goal– plus why she was happier because of it!

There you have it! That’s a pretty detailed summary of my month…but what about YOURS? What books did you read this month? Which one was your favorite? Be sure to let me know in the comments below!

  1. Thanks for mentioning my post! I’m ahead on my Commenting 365 Challenge, too, although not quite as far as you. I think I’m at around 40. Was Rebel, Bully, Geek, Pariah any good? I added that one to my GR TBR earlier this month but I haven’t heard much about it yet.

  2. Wow, you read a lot of books! Guess it makes up for the couple bookless months from last year ;). I’m excited to read UP TO THIS POINTE, SEVEN WAYS WE LIE, and SUMMER OF SUPERNOVAS. And, yay! I’m super excited that you got to read THE UNEXPECTED EVERYTHING! I know how much you were anticipating that one :). Thanks for mentioning my post, by the way. I’m ahead in the Commenting 365 and Debut Challenge. My goal for the Debut Challenge is 12 books, but I read 2. Ahead by a little, but still ahead. Here’s to an amazing February!

    • THANK YOU BRITT THAT MEANS A LOT TO MEEEEEEEEEEE <3 I changed it in the beginning of January! Unfortunately Daughters of Ruins didn't live up to my expectations. *sad face*

  3. I am impressed and jealous with your reading this month! So many books! The only one I’ve read is Up to this Pointe, which I loved! I also really like your ‘In the Blogosphere’ shoutouts. More to explore!

  4. I didn’t do nearly as well as you did, I’m only on my sixth book. What did you think of Abyss Surrounds Us? I’m reading it right now and I’m more than halfway but I have to force myself to keep going.

  5. You look like you had a great month, Nori! I’m really excited to read Firsts, Passenger, and Truthwitch! I read 10 books this month (a personal best!) and my favorite was probably Revenge and the Wild! 🙂

  6. I love it when bloggers share links to other bloggers, because then I can DISCOVER MORE BLOGS. So yay! I’ve also been tempted to follow Shannon’s example and post my own links, but they are super hard to keep track of. Maybe I will for my next recap? I don’t knowwww.

Anyways, I am also reading A Criminal Magic! And The Abyss Surrounds Us! I know you have more reading time (or so I assume), but maybe we could coordinate a buddy read?

Excuse me while I slobber over Firstlife. I LOVE Gena Showalter so I can’t wait to read your review. I’m also really wanting to read The Abyss Surround Us.I mostly read adult in January but in YA I was lucky enough to read Reign of Shadows and Shearwater part 1 and I loved them both. Seriously, omg,SO MUCH love. And hey, you’re doing great in all your challenges, as usual I’m blown away by your reading stamina and devotion to spread your horizons.I totally want to be a combination of Betty White and you when I grow up. 🙂
