October Wrap Up Post!

Posted October 30, 2015 by Nori in Monthly Wrap Up Posts! / 13 Comments

Ummm…this post is quite embarrassing. I wouldn’t have posted it, except it’s tradition, and I don’t want to break my streak of monthly wrap up posts.

Now, you may be wondering- Nori, how could a post be embarrassing, especially a wrap-up post? Isn’t it just supposed to convey to your readers what you’ve accomplished this month?

Yes, this is true. The purpose of this post is to give you an update on my blogging goals/challenges…

The only problem…

I. Failed. Almost. Every. Single. One.

This month, in terms ofΒ reading,Β I DNF’d one book, and read one manuscript for my internship.

That’s it.

I only posted one review this month…

But, you know what? I know that it’s going to go be okay.

You know why? While I might not have read as much as I would have liked, I did accomplish something. I did complete one challenge!

I am happy to say that Blog Ahead 2015 was a SUCCESS! As of today (October 30th), I have 31 posts scheduled. This covers me for the entire month of November, which isΒ amazing.

And, the other piece of GREAT news is that you’ll all be seeing most of the scheduled posts very soon! It’s almost time to reveal my secret feature that I’ve been working on for months. πŸ˜€

  1. We all have months where we don’t get through as much as we’d like. I think next month is likely to be one of those for me. Like Sierra said: NaNoWriMo.

Well done for all scheduled posts. I recently ran out and now I’m scrambling to keep up all the time!

  2. Ooh very excited to know what this secret feature is!! And don’t feel bad about not reading that much. I haven’t been doing too well either this year. I’ve only managed to read 5 books this month but my average books I read each month is like 10-13. It really sucks!! At least we can say that we got some reading done :/ Also that is awesome for all those scheduled posts!!! The longest number of scheduled posts for me was like 13. I need to start scheduling in advance more often. It really helps to lower stress :O

    • Ahahahaha you actually did end up making me approve another comment. Oh Karina. πŸ˜› Well, 5 books is much better than me, but still- it sounds like we both slumped this month. Here’s to hoping next month will be better! Thank you so much- I’m really proud of my Blog Ahead results. πŸ™‚ Scheduling posts in advance is awesome whenever possible.
