This week’s topic is: Top Ten Authors I REALLY Want To Meet!!!

1.Tamora Pierce
TAMORA PIERCE BECAUSE SHE IS ABSOLUTELY AMAZING AND I NEED TO MEET HER I REALLY NEED TO MEET HER AND EVERYONE NEEDS TO READ HER BOOKS BECAUSE SHE IS AMAZING.

2. Lori Goldstein
When I first started approaching authors about Bookitcon, Lori gave me a TON of advice concerning the event! And even though she can’t come, *sad face* she has still been extremely generous and sweet as far as helping to support the event in any way possible! I really hope that I can meet her one day and give her a big hug for all of her help!

3. Charlotte Huang
So I have an ARC of For The Record but I haven’t read it yet! I am so so so excited to read it, because Charlotte is one of the sweetest authors that I’ve “met” (aka interacted with via Twitter).

4.Kelsey Macke
I have met Kelsey before (at the Chapter by Chapter Book Rave) but that was before I read the amazingness that was Damsel Distressed!

5. Rick Riordan
Ummmmm he wrote Percy Jackson? That’s a good enough reason for me!

6. Julie Cross
Julie seems to be REALLY sweet and I’ve loved both Whatever Life Throws at You and Halfway Perfect! I really hope that I can meet her one day.

7. Anna Banks
Anna was one of the first authors who really reached out to me as a new blogger on Twitter! I was a bit overwhelmed at first, but she really helped to show me the strong author-blogger love 🙂

8. Maggie Stiefvater
If you aren’t following Maggie on Twitter, you need to rectify that situation. NOW. Whenever I am sad and need something to cheer me up, she always has some sort of funny story on her Twitter feed that makes me laugh and pushes my worries away! Also, she is the author of one of my favorite books ever- The Scorpio Races.

9. Julie Kagawa
Julie is AWESOME. Honestly, I am in awe of everything that she does. Not only has she written a TON of amazing books with characters ranging from dragons to fey, but she also makes clay dragons and one of her books is optioned for film!

10. Autumn Cornwell
I really want to meet Autumn so that we can discuss Carpe Diem! It’s one of my favorite books yet it was her only book. I want to know why! I want to know if she has any future books coming out. I need to know more!!!

So what about you? What authors do you NEED to meet? Have you read any of the books featured on my list this week? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. OOH! You have an ARC for For The Record? That’s so awesome. I’m so into that book, well, the idea of it. 🙂

I want to meet Kelsey too, just because she wrote Damsel Distressed, even though…I still haven’t read it. However, I was obsessed with it for a couple months before it was released. 🙂

I just realized I haven’t read a single book by any of the authors on your list. Haha, awkward.

  2. I’d love to meet Kelsey Macke! Damsel Distressed completely broke my heart and touched me on a personal level, and she is a really nice person in twitter!
Maggie Steifvater! That woman is awesome, isn’t she?I’ve only read one book by her,but I want to read more! Her writing is addictive.

  3. Rae

Nori, this is a great list! I especially relate to you with Maggie Stiefvater (she’s genius) and Tamora Pierce! The Circle of Magic books were (and still are) one of my absolute favorites 😀

  4. What I wouldn’t give to meet Rick Riordan, honestly! I know some authors I would also love to meet would be Michael Grant and Malorie Blackman because I simply LOVE all of their books 🙂 Also, the name Autumn for the final author you mentioned is so beautiful ^^
