This week’s topic is Top Ten Sequels I Can’t Wait To Get!

When I was looking at sequels coming out in 2015, I realized that most of the books that I really wanted to read were from series that I haven’t even read the first book. So, here is a list of sequels to books that I really want to read but haven’t read yet.

Since I haven’t read the series yet, I really want YOU to comment below and tell me which series you think that I should read next!

Also, some of the books don’t even have covers or titles yet, which is really sad, but please still make sure to look at them and let me know what you thought of the first book in the series!

1. Salt & Stone (Fire & Flood, #2) by Victoria Scott

2. P.S. I Still Love You (To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, #2) by Jenny Han

3. The Winner’s Crime (The Winner’s Trilogy, #2) by Marie Rutkoski

4. Golden Son (Red Rising Trilogy, #2) by Pierce Brown

5. Untitled (The Young Elites, #2) by Marie Lu

6. Rogue (Talon, #2) by Julie Kagawa

7. The Death Code (The Murder Complex, #2) by Lindsay Cummings

8. Blood Passage (Dark Caravan Cycle, #2) by Heather Demetrios

9. Siren’s Fury (Storm Siren, #2) by Mary Weber

10. Get Dirty (Don’t Get Mad, #2) by Gretchen McNeil

So there you have it! These are 10 sequels that I really want to read, but haven’t even read the first book yet. Have you read any of these series before? What did you think? Which would you recommend to me?

Let me know in the comments below!

  1. I’m intrigued to see what the next Jenny Han book is like! 🙂 I didn’t love To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before but I will definitely will continue as I love Jenny’s writing! Great list!

  2. AHH. You NEED to read The Winner’s Curse. It’s sooooo good. But maybe leave it off until closer to the release of The Winner’s Crime (March, I think) because the ending…is like…NOOO.

Same goes for To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before. The book ends, and you’re like, WHY?!?! Like, I’m dying for P.S. I Still Love You. The heroine is very naive and whimsical-minded, but I liked that about her. She’s vulnerable, but kind-hearted. It’s definitely not an issue-driven contemporary (like The Fault in our Stars or Eleanor & Park). It’s much more light-hearted than that.

Anyway, great list. The only other book I’ve read on it (first books) is Fire & Flood, which is entertaining, but not amazing–imho. It reminded me of Pokemon, lol. The Young Elites, Exquisite Captive, and Talon are on my radar, too!

    • Wow, first of all, thank you so much for your detailed comment! *Hugs* I have heard that there is a huge cliffhanger at the end of The Winner’s Curse, so hmm…maybe I should read it closer to the release of The Winner’s Crime.

Out of curiosity, have you read Since You’ve Been Gone by Morgan Matson? I’ve heard many people like that book if they liked TO All the Boys I’ve Loved Before, and vice versa. I’m trying to decide which book to read next!

  3. I’m really looking forward to reading The Winner’s Crime too. I haven’t read the other books on this list but you definitely added some titles to my TBR pile. Great list! 🙂

  4. I’m also looking forward to “Siren’s Fury”! “Storm Siren” was a fun read – and what a cliffhanger for an ending!

I don’t have my own list, but I’m looking forward to Maria V. Snyder’s “Shadow Study” (Book 4 of the Study series) and Karina Sumner-Smith’s “Defiant” (sequel to this year’s “Radiant”). Both are coming out next year.

There’s a few on here that are on my list too! Salt & Stone and Golden Son. But there are others that I didn’t add, like P.S. I Love You! I loved the first book! I’m currently reading The Young Elites, so now i’m looking forward to it’s sequel!
    Great list!
    my list

  6. So many of these books have stunning covers! And quite a few of these have popped up on other lists too. I am looking forward to trying them out.
