This week’s topic is Top Ten Book Characters That Would Be Sitting At My Lunch Table! Seeing as I’ve read so many amazing books with amazing characters, it took me forever to come up with the list.

But without further ado…I present to you…my lunch table!

100

1. Lucy Malone

This is a book that I read many years ago, but continues to be one of my favorite books. I would love to have Lucy at my table because she’s funny, courageous, and isn’t afraid of challenges.

2. Adrian Ivashkov
Adrian is sarcastic, hilarious, and loving! With him at the table, there certainly wouldn’t be any silent moments. He would be great to keep conversations flowing. And since I’m pretty sarcastic myself, I’d love to have a battle of sarcasm with him.

3. Annabeth Chase
I’ve always wanted to meet Annabeth. She’s a daughter of Athena, just like me. Sorry, did I forget to tell you guys? I’m a demigod. But shhh, it’s a secret.

4. Prince Kai
Who wouldn’t want a kind prince at their table? Enough said.

5. Hermione Granger
I know that I’m probably going to receive some flack for this, but Hermione is my favorite character in Harry Potter, hands down. While she may be a know-it-all, she’s also an amazing friend.

6. Richard Campbell Gansey III
Gansey was definitely my favorite character in The Raven Boys. Sure, he was rich and a bit spoiled, but he never rubbed it into anyone else’s faces. I loved the fact that he was philanthropic and always tried to help his friends.

7. Astrid Ellison
Yeah, I know. There’s a trend happening at my lunch table. Three of the girls are nerds. But come on, having Annabeth, Hermione, and Astrid all at the same table would mean that there would be lots of debating! And I like debating, plus I would learn lots from all of them, so they all would definitely be at my table.

8. Briar Moss
Briar has plant magic, which sounds awesome. Also, he’s a very laid-back and humorous guy, so I think it would be fun to talk to him!

9. Vassar Spore
Vassar is another lesser known character. Carpe Diem is one of my favorite books of all time, even though it isn’t popular. She is another nerd character, but she eventually learns to live in the moment. I think it would be really interesting to have conversations with her.

10. Frank Zhang
I feel like Frank was one of the ‘lesser’ main characters, but I don’t understand why. He seems so sweet and considerate. I’d love to have him as a friend.

So there you have it everyone! These are the 10 characters who I would pick to sit at my lunch table.

Do you agree with me? Who would you pick? Let me know in the comments below!

  1. Ah, how could I have forgotten Annabeth! She would be awesome to hang out with! I think it would be cool to have Frank at the table, too. He’s such a sweet guy : )
